Was ist Yoga?

Eine kleine Einführung in die Welt, die mein Leben verändert hat.

[/fusion_text][fusion_separator style_type=”none” top_margin=”15″ bottom_margin=”” sep_color=”” border_size=”” icon=”” icon_circle=”” icon_circle_color=”” width=”” alignment=”center” class=”” id=””/][fusion_text]Wenn wir das Wort “Yoga” hören, denken wir meistens sofort an komplizierte Körperhaltungen, starke Dehnungen und Kopfstände. Ich habe lange gebraucht, bis ich einen Draht zu dieser Form von Übungen bekommen habe.

Und noch länger hat es gedauert, um zu verstehen, dass Yoga eigentlich gar kein Sport ist.

Ursprünglich war Yoga als Weg zur geistigen Erleuchtung gedacht. Die Körperübungen waren nur Mittel zum Zweck, um sich voll und ganz auf sich selbst zu konzentrieren und im Hier und Jetzt anzukommen. Das Ziel lag nicht primär in körperlicher Fitness, sondern darin, zu sich selbst zu finden.
